Dear caretakers of the Earth
If you truly want people to pay heed
To our pressing need
To look after the life of our planet
To look after the life of our selves
Not greed
Please STOP
Describing life as a battlefield
As a projection of our own alienation
From our source
And open your minds
To what’s truly going on
And what’s truly going wrong
As we put money before people before nature
In a perverse inversion of priorities
That serves no good purpose at all
