Hello, I’m Louie Gardiner
Louie's Story
Dr Louie J N Gardiner, PhD, MBA, ESIA, EIA, BA (hons), FRSA,
Catalyst: Supervisor, Coach, Facilitator-trainer, Leadership Development, Systemic OD, Author
Creative: Poet, Photographer, Performance Artist
I am passionately engaged in liberating authentic human potential, through the natural sensemaking dynamics of ‘Presence in Action’ and ‘Symmathesic Agency’. These pulse at the heart of the ways I move through life, as a Creative (Poet, Photographer, Performance Artist), and as a Catalyst (Supervisor, Coach, Facilitator-trainer, Systemic OD, Author), accompanying those who invite me to walk alongside them for a while.
As a Creative ∞ Catalyst, I support individuals, groups and organisations internationally. I bring to life a unique pedagogy that enables others to access and assimilate into their own lives, the embodiment of Natural Inclusionality. Deploying a fusion of practical, intellectual, visual, spatial, kinaesthetic, poetic and performative modalities, I invite the receptive-responsive interplay of human beings; enabling them to manifest their natural personal and collective ‘brilliance’.
Pioneering, metalogically coherent approaches are at the forefront of the training I deliver with Potent 6, PIA Collective CIC; the EMCC & ICF accredited Coaching Supervision training, alongside Jo Birch in Crucial Difference; Occurrity and The Thomas Prattki Centre.
My multi-scalar pedagogical methodology found synthesis and expression, alongside other unique contributions, in my PhD (Attending, Responding, Becoming ~ a living-learning inquiry in a naturally inclusional playspace).
Authorship:
I have contributed articles to both academic and practice-based journals e.g. Human Arenas, Cybernetics and Human Knowing, e-O&P Journal, Coaching Today, the3rdi magazine, and Book Chapters in ‘Coaching Supervision Groups: Resourcing Practitioners’ (2021); ‘Coaching Supervision: Advancing Practice, Changing Landscapes’ (2019); and ‘The Collaboratory’ (2015); poetry anthology ‘Attending, Responding, Becoming: An anthology of surprises beyond intention or design’ (2021).
Previous Roles of note: Faculty Board Member, Hull University Business School; CEO, Centre for Enabling Leadership UK (Private sector); PIA Collective CIC Director (Social Enterprise); Charity Trustee (The Hunger Project UK); Barnsley MBC, Head of Corporate Performance & Development (Public sector); Fellow & visiting lecturer for undergraduate & post-graduate degrees (Sheffield Hallam, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Roffey Part Institute).
