Natural figures can embrace
Natural figures can exclude
Each other
A larger figure
Can include a smaller figure
But a smaller figure
Cannot include a larger figure
Without becoming larger still
Figures can add to one another
Figures can take away from each other
Figures can multiply
Figures can divide
But, no matter how hard we might strive to make them
Figures can’t exclude
What all figures have in common
Which isn’t a figure at all
But makes the existence of figures possible
Whenever and wherever
Life embraces Love
And nowhere else
Let that be a mathematics lesson
To all who strive
To divorce a figure from its place in space
For some expedient purpose
Serving the Power of One Alone
The Tyranny of Number
